Billy Cook’s Square Skirt Basket Barrel Racer
Other manufacturers try to woo you with a little tooling and a glossy finish. Billy Cook goes the extra mile. This Barrel Racer is in a class of its own from the unique quilted design of the seat to the rawhide braided horn. The silver laced cantle, the rawhide laced stirrups, and the half-breed Texas tooling combine to create a unique saddle. Roughout jockeys and fenders. Heads will turn if you buy Billy Cook.

I have an older version of this saddle and I would not trade it for any other saddle. The 15 inch seat fits me perfectly and is extremely comfortable. It is a very versatile saddle and fits many horses. I use it on a daily basis for training and trail riding, but also use it at rodeos for barrel racing and pole bending. This is one of the few saddles that the stirrups go up high enough to fit my short legs, but also go down long enough to fit my taller friends. I cannot say enough good things about this saddle, and if and when it finally breaks, I will buy it again.

I use this saddle every time I ride. It was comfortable right out of the box. Fits my horses even though one is stocky and the other more refined built. I was worried about color transfer from my pants to the rough out area, but, I did not get any at all. I would highly recommend this saddle!
